Charity Event - Thursday 5th August

Join us on Thursday 5th August for our family charity event.

The fun kicks off at 5pm with a round of friendly football matches between the Club staff and guests/members.

Afterwards relax and enjoy a delicious BBQ plus evening entertainment for everyone, including raffle, bouncy castle, face painting, music and more.

The World Cup 2010 kicks off in 2 days and the Yacht Club Cala d'Or are celebrating this great tournament with some fantastic promotions.

Kids at the Yacht Club

Here at Yacht Club Cala d'Or, the fun doesn't end with adult activities. The Club prides itself on its variety of family orientated activities. There is truly something for everyone.

Easter Highlights

It was great to see lots of friends at the Club throughout the Easter holidays as well as some new ones too. The season has got off to a great start with the 5th Anniversary Party on 9th April to our new theme nights (which have become very popular) and much more.

Yes, its Roll a Dice Night every Wednesday at Yacht Club Cala d'Or!

Enjoy a game of luck at bill time. Every Wednesday take your chance with our “Roll a Dice Night” Roll 4 dice and if you get four “6`s” you eat for free! The total sum of the four dies will be the discount applied to your bill.

We have a children's cooking demonstration this morning so all those budding Jamie Oliver's come along and learn some fun cooking skills with Sergio.

This afternoon is Waffles and Crepes by the pool. Those Easter Eggs must be nearly gone now so join us for a delicious treat in the Yacht Club gardens.

Tonight is our Special Italian Night. Some favourite dishes and a fun-filled night ahead.

Easter Weekend at Yacht Club Cala d'Or

What a fantastic start to the season!

Our exhibition by Marcel Gatteaux opened on Friday to a fantastic reception. Come along and view these beautiful post-impressionist paintings depicting Mallorca scenery before they all get snapped up.

Tomorrow at the Club we have Easter craft activities for the kids in the morning, followed by a set lunch menu for only €12.50. In the afternoon, join us for an Italian Cooking Demonstration which promises to be great fun and then finish off the day by enjoying a sumptuous dinner in our Bistrot Restaurant - choose from our new a la carte or set menu.

Spring has finally arrived in Cala d'Or and that can only mean one thing, Easter is just around the corner.

Here at the Yacht Club we have packed the holidays full of activities and events for children and adults alike.

The fun kicks off on Sunday 4th April with an Easter Egg Hunt followed by a delicious 3 course Easter Lunch. Other activities include cooking demonstrations, table tennis tournaments, special theme nights and ladies pamper afternoon.

Paintings by Marcel Gatteaux

Marcel Gatteaux, a London born artist, will be exhibiting a collection of his artwork at the Yacht Club from 2nd April—27th June.

The outstanding collection of post-impressionist pictures are inspired by Gatteaux’s travels throughout Mallorca, from the wildflower meadows of Felanitx and Santanyi, the colourful marinas of Cala d’Or and Porto Petro, the beauty of Mondrago National Park to the breathtaking views of Cabrera—returning each season to capture the changing light and colours of the landscapes.

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, we will be running a raffle draw—the prize being a fantastic Marcel Gatteaux original painting.

Ask at reception for your entry form. The winner will be announced on 27th June.

Team Building Days at the Yacht Club

Fancy a teambuilding day for your company with a difference? Why not check out what's on offer at Yacht Club Cala d'Or. Our cooking holidays company, Cooking Holidays Mallorca, offer fantastic half or full day bonding experiences which are a hit with the whole team.

Half day prices for a corporate cooking event start from €70. This includes an 4 hour hands-on cooking experience with some friendly competition thrown in for good measure. Afterwards enjoy the dishes you have cooked, accompanied by some fine Spanish wines.

We can tailor make a full day package to include a cooking experience followed by a few hours of pool, sauna, steam room and games room fun (pool and table tennis competitions) and then cocktail-making lesson on our CaLa Vista Terrace, followed by dinner. Prices for this would start at €105 per person.

With the opening of our Bistrot Restaurant & Bar only hours away, we are delighted to launch our new season's menus. From appetizing light bites on our snack menu, to a gourmet delight on our A La Carte menu.

Mothers Day at Yacht Club Cala d'Or

Not long now till the Bistrot Restaurant opens its doors for the new season. Our grand opening is on Sunday 14th March just in time for Mothers Day.

Weddings in Mallorca - Yacht Club Cala d'Or

Hi everyone. With temperatures starting to creep up (its 17 degrees today) we are already starting to enjoy the Majorcan summer. Our wedding dates are getting booking up for this year, but we still have SOME dates left. If you are looking to get married this year do contact us at weddings@yccalador.com. Getting ready for the new season

We hope that you all had a great Christmas season and a Happy New Year to you all! The Yacht Club has been closed for a few weeks now and is due to re-open on 1st February. Although the winter months are well and truly here, we are already in full swing preparing for a fantastic 2010 season.

The Yacht Club website has been updated and we have also launched a new venture, Cooking Holidays Mallorca (www.cookingholidaysmallorca.com) so for any budding chefs out there, do check it out.
